The city of Luxembourg and its fortress have been depicted many times since the 16th century. City Visions addresses the subject in a playful way, as a visual experience of the city's evolution through the centuries and from various perspectives. Drawing from the museum’s collections, the exhibition focuses on the "visions" of the city of Luxembourg – from early modern panoramas to abstract graffiti and picturesque urban landscapes. Visitors are invited to engage with the displayed pieces and take part in activities for young and old (games, puzzles, toys, tactile models, painting stations, creative studio, etc.). With its broad range of images and interactive elements, this exhibition offers an entertaining, curious, and educational visit.
