Following Sur tes épaules (22 • 23), choreographer Nawal Aït Benalla and Compagnie La Baraka, based at the Chapelle Sainte-Marie in Annonay, return to the Grand Théâtre with “Ce qui nous traverse”, a work that questions our relationship to the body in an age of technological feats. Five dancers with distinct physiques explore the power of the human body as a universal language through metronomic and repetitive movements evolving into a controlled trance. The performance plays with ruptures in rhythm and highlights the body’s ability to unite beyond social, cultural, and educational divisions.
