This walking tour explores the iconography of animals in urban space, telling the story of Luxembourg City and its nature through animal representations. The tour features anecdotes about urban wildlife and city history, linking two distinct districts: the city center (Oberstadt) and Grund (Unterstadt). It highlights the symbolic importance of animals in popular religion, architecture, art, and literature in Luxembourg, and examines biodiversity in the "green heart of Europe."
