musas is a concert-show at the intersection of recital, performance, and visual arts. Alone on stage, Hélène Escriva conducts a sensitive exploration of breath, voice, and body, where her instruments – the euphonium and bass trumpet – become true narrative vectors. At her side, set designer Félix Rigollot acts as a discreet accomplice. The program, ranging from baroque to contemporary and electroacoustic works, highlights female figures — mythological, pictorial, marginalized, or anonymous — presented as persistent presences. The scenography, envisioned as a palimpsest, evolves throughout the performance, revealing layers of imagery and light in continuous dialogue with sound. musas sketches a free and immersive form, where listening is reinvented.
