With black humor, death becomes not only bearable but also amusing. The duo “C’est la vie”, featuring Véronique Kinnen (vocals and acting) and Rudi Schubert (piano and vocals), presents songs and texts that give satirical and sarcastic voice to murderous impulses. Poems by famous authors Erich Kästner, Wolf Wondratschek, and Franz Wedekind have been set to new music by Rudi Schubert, who also includes his own texts and performs with Véronique selected songs by Georg Kreisler. Expect chansons and texts without filter – toxic, biting, razor-sharp.
