MUDAM Dodeka - Performance by He Sun

As part of MUDAM’s DODEKA exhibition, He Sun presents a new performance continuing her exploration of memory as both a personal archive and collective inheritance. In her artistic practice, Sun transforms fragmented traces of intimate and shared history into visceral encounters, positioning her own body as a living site for processing and transformation. Central to the work is muslin, used as a sensory extension. Delicate yet resilient, the material serves to explore the boundaries of physical presence and materiality. Through its folds and ephemerality, Sun evokes temporal memory embedded in the fabric – its ability to hold, transmit, and release the imprints of time, touch, and history.
