Photo-Club Camera 77 Miersch celebrates its 50th anniversary with an exhibition at the Mersch Theater. The exhibited photos are a selection of the club's most striking moments, taken from public slideshows of Photo-Club Camera 77 Miersch, which, formatted as reportage, illustrated the news and activities in Mersch. Founded on January 21, 1977, as a Photo-Ciné-Club, the club has held member projections (multivision) from the very beginning. Over time, news reports from election years 1987, 1993, and 1999 were added. During that time, films for children and adults were also shown, received by the club from the Centre de Diffusion et d’Animation Cinématographique. In the early 1990s, the Ciné-Club activity was discontinued. The club also organized the "Mierscher stellen aus" exhibition with artists from the municipality of Mersch. Today, Camera 77 organizes its own photography exhibitions, participates in national photography competitions, and regularly offers photo outings in the region. The club currently has 33 members, 12 of whom are licensed with the photography federation.
