Walk the Art

During this guided tour, we discover artworks specifically created for public spaces. Most existing monuments were erected in Luxembourg between the mid-19th century and the early 2000s. It was only from the 1990s that art was actively created for public spaces, meaning that artworks have been placed in urban spaces solely for their aesthetics, without cultivating a culture of remembrance. Location: Place Guillaume II, in front of the Town Hall
