Luxembourg City and its fortress have been depicted many times since the 16th century. City Visions approaches this subject playfully, as a visual exploration of the city’s evolution through the centuries and from a wide range of perspectives. Drawing on the museum’s collections, the exhibition focuses on visions of Luxembourg City, from early modern panoramas and picturesque urban landscapes to abstract graffiti. Visitors are invited to engage with the exhibits through activities for children and adults, including games, puzzles, toys, tactile models, painting stations and a creative studio.
