This exhibition by the Photothèque de la Ville de Luxembourg traces the evolution of tourism in Luxembourg since the 19th century through photographs of visitors, landscapes, the city and its transformations. It explores Luxembourg City’s role as a tourist destination, the growth of travel after the Second World War, and changing practices from postcards to selfies. For the first time, the Photothèque also presents photographs by Luxembourg photographers travelling in Europe, North Africa and overseas. In July and August, the exhibition continues in the pedestrian walkway linking Place de la Gare and the Bonnevoie district.
