Longwy pays tribute to Slimane Azem

The City of Longwy pays tribute to Slimane Azem, a poet, singer and former steelworker from Longwy. The ceremony will include the unveiling of three commemorative plaques in the central avenue of Parc des Récollets, followed by a talk led by his biographer Youcef NACIB. It will address Franco-Algerian ties, his political commitment and his musical influence between Kabyle tradition and modernity.
