Secretly, as a committed environmental activist, she sabotages the local aluminium industry. As she prepares her most ambitious action to date, she receives news that will completely change her life. As the authorities close in on her, she must make an important decision. OUR VIEW Woman at War is witty, surprising and gripping, while addressing difficult questions. The film explores themes that could lend themselves to a dark and depressing story, but its creators use a veritable profusion of humorous devices. You will be surprised by their ability to introduce the most unexpected and absurd humour into tense moments, thereby breaking with the film’s seriousness. As a result, the film’s criticism remains powerful without becoming overwhelming. The film raises questions about how we can organise ourselves to defend our convictions, even when we do so alone.
