Since childhood, Chloé Poizat has explored the night of origins and its depths, rich with every possibility: from the birth of the cosmos to the first forms of life, from fossil beings to the beginnings of human cultures. Through charcoal drawing, sculpture or working with paper, through her videos and sound creations in which the music of the spheres resonates, Chloé Poizat pursues a quest for forms in which every sound and every image seems to be born from stone, earth and sky. Her works secrete a universe: they reanimate traces of the past and inscribe them in a present in the making. Neither an imaginary museum nor an archaeological inventory, the singular world she brings before our eyes is a living territory: a workshop of beginnings.
