The exhibition presents “Moonshake”, a new stage in painter Tung-Wen Margue’s work. It extends his reflection on a planet threatened with extinction: landscapes become lunar, while primordial rock retains the memory of water, sediments and strata. In this series of paintings, the artist offers a vision of the world that is at times lucid and at times dreamlike. Colours burst forth from the earth, rock and minerals, inspired by the Pyrenean marbles characteristic of the Couserans region.
