From 20 to 22 November, the 12th edition of Luxembourg Art Week, the contemporary art fair, will bring together 78 exhibitors from 15 countries in its temporary structure at Glacis Square, in the heart of Luxembourg City. Since 2015, Luxembourg Art Week has brought together galleries, artists, collectors and art lovers in a friendly, international atmosphere. This year, 22 exhibitors are taking part in the fair for the first time, offering even more opportunities to discover the diversity of contemporary art. PROGRAMME HIGHLIGHTS AT THE FAIR – Explore the galleries, discover photography through Focus Photo, join the Art Talks and enjoy free guided tours on 21 and 22 November, from 3 pm to 5 pm. CONTEMPORARY ART PRIZE – Launched this year with the support of Société Générale Private Banking Luxembourg, this prize recognises an artwork by an artist from the Greater Region or the Benelux. The winning artwork will become part of the Société Générale Luxembourg Art Collection. ART WALK – From 14 October to 22 November, discover the (capsules), artistic installations displayed in empty shop windows, and the sculpture trail, a route featuring sculptures throughout the city. Free and accessible at any time, it’s another way to enjoy art as you explore Luxembourg on foot. RENDEZ-VOUS – Performances, exhibition openings, happenings and one-off events complete the official programme, in collaboration with various cultural partners. SOIL CAFÉ BY MARIE HAZARD – Take a break in this welcoming space featuring textile creations made especially for Luxembourg Art Week. You’ll also find drinks and snacks to enjoy.
