Lichtmüll is an evolving light installation by Furkan Titiz, displayed in a vacant shop window in Luxembourg City. Each week, new bags containing discarded light fittings are added to the work, coming in particular from renovation sites, incorrect orders, warehouse overstock and overproduction. At night, some bags light up from within, revealing still-functional fittings and questioning the waste generated by the production chain.
