Show & CultureShow & CultureMudam presents the first major museum exhibition dedicated to Brazilian artist and filmmaker Ana Vaz (1986, Brasília). Through films, installations and photographic works from the past decade, “Ana Vaz: A câmera é o corpo (The Camera Is The Body)” explores the legacies of colonial modernity and their repercussions on territories and their human, animal, vegetal and spectral communities. The exhibition transforms the museum spaces into an immersive environment in which images, sounds, bodies and perspectives unfold through a spatial composition created by the artist.
