This prolific artist is also a great traveler who spent many years sailing the seas. For years, he has divided his life between Luxembourg and Chile, where he owns a second home. In 1986, he acquired the islands of Isla Toro and Isla Mutri off the coast of Patagonia. His landscapes, which he paints at his second home, are particularly admired and will certainly surprise connoisseurs of the artist’s work. Lofy’s watercolors showcase the breathtaking diversity of Patagonian landscapes, from rugged mountains and vast plains to coastal scenes. These works are admired for the precision with which the artist observes nature and his ability to convey, through the interplay of light, an atmosphere that is both warm and mysterious. The exhibition is complemented by several sculptures that Lofy created in Patagonia.
