Meshuggah brings The Forty-Year Anomaly with special guests Periphery and Vildhjarta. For nearly four decades, Swedish quintet Meshuggah have shaped a distinctive language of modern metal, combining rhythmic complexity, dissonance, repetition and crushing physicality. Formed in Umeå in 1987, the band evolved from thrash-metal foundations towards more experimental territory through albums including Destroy Erase Improve, Chaosphere and Nothing. Hailing from Washington, D.C., Periphery have pushed the boundaries of progressive metal since 2005. Founded by guitarist and producer Misha Mansoor, the band are pioneers of the djent movement, blending crushing riffs, intricate rhythms and soaring melodies. Hailing from Hudiksvall, Sweden, Vildhjarta have been developing a dark, atmospheric and unconventional progressive metal sound since 2005. The band combine down-tuned riffs, complex rhythms and haunting melodies in their signature “thall” style.
