YOUNG CHEF OF THE YEAR 2027: KIM DE DOOD

Youth has talent (and taste!)

The title of Young Chef of the Year goes to Kim De Dood, from the restaurant Le Lys.

At the helm of this establishment (with 1 Michelin star) located at Villa Pétrusse, the chef brings Luxembourgish traditions into dialogue with influences from elsewhere. A fine-dining cuisine that enjoys surprising diners, without forgetting its roots. And because a good restaurant is also about curiosity, this award is an excellent excuse to discover Le Lys! 🍽️

PASTRY CHEF OF THE YEAR 2027: PAULINE MICHELIN

Pauline Michelin, from Grünewald Chef’s Table, wins the title of Pastry Chef of the Year 2027. A distinction that celebrates the art of turning a few ingredients into genuine little moments of happiness. You know, that moment when you announce “I’m no longer hungry,” before tasting your neighbor’s pastry? Exactly. No one is judging here. We simply recommend saving a little room for the end of the meal 🍰

WHERE THE MAGIC HAPPENS

2027 DISCOVERY OF THE YEAR: LA DISTILLERIE, CHEF PETROS KOPTSIS

The discovery setting the kitchens on fire! 🔥

La Distillerie, in Bourglinster, has won the title of Discovery of the Year with chef Petros Koptsis. A great spotlight for this establishment, which has joined the yellow guide’s selection. WHAT'S HIDDEN IN THE CASTLE

SOMMELIER OF THE YEAR 2027: JULIEN GEISLER, FROM THE LOUIS LINSTER RESTAURANT

Because a good dish is always accompanied by a good glass...

Julien Geisler, from Louis Linster restaurant, has been crowned Sommelier of the Year 2027. Behind a good meal, there is also the art of finding the pairing that makes the flavours sparkle. And if you have ever spent ten minutes hesitating in front of a wine list while pretending to understand all the grape varieties, you know how much a good sommelier can save the evening. At the table, all that remains is to let yourself be guided! Congratulations to the guide! 🍷
