The traveling exhibition, presented from March 8 to September 15 at the National Museum in Esch-sur-Alzette, explores the paths and experiences of 7,000 women deported from France and Luxembourg to the Ravensbrück concentration camp. It highlights the diversity of these women's social and national backgrounds, as well as the impact of traditional gender roles on their resistance and persecution. Selected biographies illustrate the various aspects of resistance, detention, and survival.
