The traveling exhibition in French and German, displayed from March 8th to September 15th at the National Museum in Esch-sur-Alzette, explores the life paths and experiences of around 7,000 women deported from France and Luxembourg to the Ravensbrück concentration camp as part of political repression. It highlights the diversity of these women's social and national backgrounds and shows how resistance and persecution were shaped by traditional gender roles. The varied facets of resistance, detention, and survival are shared through selected biographies.
