The traveling exhibition, presented from March 8 to September 15 at the National Museum in Esch-sur-Alzette, explores the lives and experiences of around 7,000 women deported from France and Luxembourg to the Ravensbrück concentration camp as part of politically motivated repression. It highlights the diversity of the social and national backgrounds of these women and shows how resistance and persecution were shaped by traditional gender roles. The multiple facets of resistance, detention, and survival are told through selected biographies. The exhibition is bilingual in French and German.
