In a complex and multipolar world where economic, political, and cultural agendas clash and overlap, the exhibition "State Noise" highlights contemporary artists who are engaging with this challenging and noisy environment, placing sound at the center of their reflections and, consequently, their work. The exhibition aims to provide a contemporary overview of the multiple channels, signals, and background noises surrounding us daily, competing for our attention or diverting us from essential matters.

On May 21, the Konschthal Esch will host another Takeover Thursday dedicated to listening and sound experimentation! For this evening, which echoes the “état bruit” exhibition, Sam Erpelding will take over the space with sound installations, live performances, and an immersive DJ set inspired by the exhibition’s themes.

An original way to discover the Konschthal and its current exhibition!
