Repair Cafés are volunteer gatherings where participants repair their broken items together: IT (hardware & software), furniture, electrical appliances, toys, textiles/clothing, bicycles, and mechanical devices.
For touchscreen devices or smartphones, only diagnostic and advice services are generally provided. It is strongly recommended to have these repaired by a specialist store.
Before attending:
- Check the power supply and general condition of your device.
- Maintain the device (clean filters, descale, etc.).
- Bring all necessary items to test the repair (e.g. cable, charger, manual, spare part if you have it).
If you have repair skills (electronics, woodworking, mechanics, sewing, etc.), contact the organization to volunteer your help.
Good to know
Services for touchscreen devices are generally limited to diagnostics. It is advisable to have these devices repaired by specialists.
