Guided tour – Architects of the Future
In the framework of The Bank, project by SUPERFLEX, Mudam organises special guided tours dedicated to the architecture and history of the museum. Participants will first learn about the design and history of this landmark by Pritzker Prize winning architect Ieoh Ming Pei and discover how Mudam has changed the landscape of Luxembourg. Afterwards, they will be invited to imagine the future architecture of Mudam and its surrounding park. To do so, they will have the chance to play with clay blocks assembled during the drop-in workshop Building Your Bank, creating a collective "city of banks" outside Mudam. Their participation will feed into SUPERFLEX's project to create a permanent installation in the Park Dräi Eechelen.
Biography: SUPERFLEX was founded in 1993 by Jakob Fenger, Bjørnstjerne Christiansen and Rasmus Rosengren Nielsen. Conceived as an expanded collective, SUPERFLEX collaborates with various partners, often engaging local communities and even other species to foster a new, interspecies urbanism.
