Guided Tour – Architects of the Future
Within the framework of The Bank project by SUPERFLEX, Mudam is organising special guided tours focusing on the museum’s architecture and history. Participants will first learn about the design and history of this landmark by Pritzker Prize winning architect Ieoh Ming Pei and discover how Mudam has changed the landscape of Luxembourg.
Then, participants are invited to imagine the future architecture of Mudam and its surrounding park through a collective workshop using clay blocks, building together a 'city of banks' in front of the building. Their participation will form the basis for SUPERFLEX's permanent installation project in Park Dräi Eechelen.
SUPERFLEX was founded in 1993 by Jakob Fenger, Bjørnstjerne Christiansen, and Rasmus Rosengren Nielsen, and regularly works on collaborative and participatory projects internationally.
