Guided Tour – Architects of the Future
In the framework of the SUPERFLEX "The Bank" project, Mudam organises special guided tours dedicated to the architecture and history of the museum. Participants will learn about the design and history of this landmark by Pritzker Prize-winning architect Ieoh Ming Pei and discover how Mudam has changed the Luxembourg landscape. They will then be invited to imagine the future architecture of Mudam and its surrounding park by playing with clay blocks assembled during the "Building Your Bank" workshop. Together, they will create a collective "city of banks" in front of Mudam's unique building, contributing to SUPERFLEX's permanent installation in Park Dräï Eechelen. Regular tours are addressed to individual visitors and small groups (max. 5 people).
Biography: SUPERFLEX was founded in 1993 by Jakob Fenger, Bjørnstjerne Christiansen, and Rasmus Rosengren Nielsen. Conceived as an expanded collective, SUPERFLEX collaborates with a wide range of partners and experiments with new models of social organisation, working both inside and outside public space, often in participatory ways.
