Guided Tour – Architects of the Future
- exhibition
- visit
As part of the project "The Bank" by SUPERFLEX, Mudam is organising special guided tours dedicated to the architecture and history of the museum. Participants will learn about the design and history of this landmark by Pritzker Prize-winning architect Ieoh Ming Pei and discover how Mudam has changed Luxembourg's landscape. Next, they will be invited to imagine the future architecture of Mudam and the surrounding park by working with the clay blocks used in the "Building Your Bank" workshop. Together, participants will create a collective "city of banks" in front of the museum. Their creation will serve as a blueprint for SUPERFLEX’s permanent installation in Park Dräi Eechelen. Biography: SUPERFLEX is a collective founded in 1993 by Jakob Fenger, Bjørnstjerne Christiansen, and Rasmus Rosengren Nielsen. Working in various fields and with participatory methods, SUPERFLEX explores social and economic organisation and develops urbanism integrating all living beings.
Bon à savoir
The tours are intended for individual visitors and small groups (max. 5 people). The event is supported by the PwC Foundation Luxembourg, under the aegis of the Fondation de Luxembourg.
