Guided Tour – Architects of the Future

In the framework of The Bank, a project by SUPERFLEX, Mudam organises special guided tours dedicated to the architecture and history of the museum.
Participants will first learn about the design and history of this landmark by Pritzker Prize winning architect Ieoh Ming Pei, and discover how Mudam has changed the landscape of Luxembourg.
Then, participants will be invited to imagine the future architecture of Mudam and its surrounding park. To do so, they will have the chance to play with the clay blocks that have been assembled during the Building Your Bank workshop. Together, they will create a collective "city of banks" outside Mudam's unique building. Their participation will serve as a blueprint for SUPERFLEX's project to create a permanent installation in Park Dräi Eechelen.
SUPERFLEX was founded in 1993 by Jakob Fenger, Bjørnstjerne Christiansen, and Rasmus Rosengren Nielsen. SUPERFLEX's projects are developed as broad collaborations, involving a variety of contributors, and aim to develop a new kind of urbanism that includes the perspectives of plants and animals.
Good to know
Regular tours are addressed to individual visitors and small groups (maximum 5 people).
SUPERFLEX's The Bank is organised with the support of the PwC Foundation Luxembourg, under the aegis of the Fondation de Luxembourg.
