Guided Tour – Architects of the Future
As part of the project The Bank by SUPERFLEX, Mudam is organizing special guided tours dedicated to the architecture and history of the museum.
First, you will discover the design and history of this emblematic monument, created by architect Ieoh Ming Pei, winner of the Pritzker Prize, and learn how Mudam has transformed the Luxembourg landscape.
Next, participants can imagine the future architecture of Mudam and its surrounding park by working with clay blocks during the free 'Building Your Bank' workshop. The collective creations will form a 'city of banks' set up just outside this unique building. Each participation will form the basis of SUPERFLEX's project to create a permanent installation in the Dräi Eechelen park.
SUPERFLEX. The Bank is organized with the support of the PwC Foundation Luxembourg, under the aegis of the Fondation de Luxembourg.
SUPERFLEX was founded in 1993 by Jakob Fenger, Bjørnstjerne Christiansen, and Rasmus Rosengren Nielsen. This collective, committed to exploring other forms of social and economic organization, creates works in various forms, including energy systems, infrastructures, public spaces, etc.
