Introduction to the exhibition in the main hall: the public discovers a new exhibition consisting of printed texts, documents and objects in display cases, mechanical installations, audio recordings, films, projections, infographics, and interactive screens. Thanks to this variety of media, everyone can find something of interest. The historical panels are complemented with audio stories accessible via QR codes, giving a voice to those who lived through this period. The exhibition is mainly thematic, but two timelines offer visitors the opportunity to explore history in more detail. Short biographies also allow visitors to get to know the women and men directly involved, presented in biographical alcoves at the beginning or end of the visit. In 11 alcoves, 28 historical figures and 16 current residents of Luxembourg share their stories. A ticket for the permanent exhibition also grants access to the temporary exhibition.
