Guided tour through the permanent exhibition – 2:30pm - @Museum – Esch/Alzette
Upon entering the exhibition in the main hall, visitors discover the new exhibition, which consists of printed texts, documents and objects in display cases, mechanical devices, audio recordings, films, projections, computer graphics, and interactive screens. This variety of media offers something for everyone.
Audio testimonies complement each panel of the historical exhibition and can be accessed via QR codes on a smartphone.
The exhibition takes a thematic approach, with two timelines on the upper and lower floors for those wishing to delve deeper. Short biographies introduce the men and women directly involved, including 11 biographical niches in the main hall, where 28 historical figures and 16 current residents of Luxembourg share their experiences as victims, civilians, or actors.
