Guentrange, a former wine-growing village located on the heights of Thionville, offers a rich heritage linked to vine cultivation, which flourished especially in the 19th century. You can still see traces of this era through its winegrowers', laborers', and masters' houses, witnesses to a strong social hierarchy. The district also preserves a strong religious memory, as shown by the votive grotto and Saint-Urbain Church, the protector of the vines.
