A wine can be lively, full-bodied, or edgy. So can a dance. Building from this shared vocabulary, Compagnie La Grive has imagined an experience for four wines, two dancers, and a sommelier. In Dancing Grapes, tasting leaves the table and moves into the body. The audience, glass in hand, enjoys an aperitif with both their palate and their eyes. Guided by sommelier-caviste Emmanuel Ménard, spectators discover four different wines. At each tasting, Clémentine Maubon and Bastien Lefèvre translate aromas, textures, and sensations into movement, transforming aspects like 'attack', balance, or length on the palate into a matter of support, weight, and breath. No need to be a wine or dance specialist: just be curious and let yourself be carried away by this unexpected dialogue between oenology and movement. This is a friendly moment where wine illuminates dance, and dance reveals wine.
