This year, the Heritage Days are held under the theme “Heritage at Risk: Revive, Resist, Reinvent”. Our cultural heritage is facing unprecedented challenges linked to climate change, urbanisation, migration, conflicts and digitisation. This theme highlights the need to preserve objects belonging to our cultural heritage. The Heritage Days invite everyone to explore, protect and share heritage, in order to ensure that our cultural heritage remains living and meaningful for future generations. This year once again, we want to raise awareness of heritage among a broad audience. A variety of events and awareness-raising projects can be organised: discoveries and guided tours of historic buildings or sites, as well as museum collections, workshops, conferences, demonstrations of traditional skills or introductions to heritage-related trades and techniques, projects involving new technologies, concerts or any other event connected with heritage.
