Neimënster – from abbey to cultural centre

Step inside Neimënster and be guided through its rooms, stories and spaces usually closed to the public. Nestled between steep cliffs and the bends of the Alzette, the site bears witness to four centuries of history: a Benedictine abbey, a military stronghold and then a prison until 1980. Today, it has become a cultural hub dedicated to creation.
