Cristina Dias de Magalhães and Martine Breuer present their third joint exhibition, bringing together photography and painting to explore the relationship between imagination and reality, introspection, and the challenges of today’s world. Martine Breuer’s paintings feature portraits in thought-provoking settings. Her series « Wir laufen gegen die Wand » notably questions passivity in the face of climate change, while « Zwischenräume » creates a melancholic atmosphere around introspection and dialogue. In « Equivalents. States of Existence », Cristina Dias de Magalhães explores the links between nature and the inner world through her personal archives. Her photographs, complemented by drawings made by her three daughters, evoke emotion, resilience, transformation, memory and nature.
