This retrospective presents thirty years of Pit David’s artistic work around the world of the Hopi and their Kachinam. Using watercolour pencils, natural pigments, canvas and washi paper, the artist has developed a distinctive visual language shaped by his stays and encounters in Arizona. The exhibition brings together works from the beginning of his career and more recent creations. A special series of 30 paintings, inspired by sites in the “Four Corners” region of the American Southwest, also marks his 30 years of exhibiting.
