Saturday, 10 October 2026, from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m. To mark the 25th edition of Museum Night, the Naturmusée is opening its doors until 1 a.m. and offering an evening dedicated to discovery, science and creativity. Throughout the evening, visitors will be able to explore the temporary exhibition “The Secret Life of the Naturmusée”, dedicated to the museum’s 30th anniversary in the Grund, as well as the collections in the permanent exhibition. ON THE PROGRAMME: 5–11 p.m. | Workshop: Microfossils Become a researcher for one night! As part of this citizen science workshop, search for tiny fossils hidden in a bone bed from Larochette and discover the clues they reveal about the past. In Luxembourgish, French, German and English. 5–11 p.m. | Workshop: The males display… the females choose Why do some animals sport extravagant colours, imposing antlers, spectacular feathers or impressive songs? Through a fun escape game, discover the strategies of courtship and mate selection in the animal kingdom. In Luxembourgish, French, German and English. 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. | Performance: The Crocodile Woman A Pop-Rock Crocodile Woman, torn from her wild jungle by a hunter, recounts a life of sequins and glamour, between hopes and disappointments. A performance combining female and animal emancipation. Based on the text by Joy Sorman. Performed by: Valérie Crouzet. Idea: Meriam Korichi. In French. 7:30 p.m. | Special guided tour: The Secret Life of the Naturmusée To mark the museum’s 30th anniversary in the Grund, Patrick Michaely, director of the Naturmusée, invites you to discover the institution’s behind-the-scenes world: its professions, collections, methods and projects. From fieldwork to digital technologies, this tour reveals how the museum produces, shares and brings knowledge about nature to life. In French. 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. | Concert: Sounds of the Symbiocene This musical creation draws inspiration from fragments of the Naturmusée’s sound archives from the year 2300. Blending natural sounds and human compositions, it evokes a world in which the boundary between nature and culture has gradually lost its meaning. With Lex Gillen and Gérard Delesse. 9:30 p.m. | Special guided tour: The Secret Life of the Naturmusée In English. With Patrick Michaely, director of the Naturmusée. All evening | Culinary Night at the Naturmusée The museum cafeteria welcomes you throughout the evening for a nature-inspired gourmet break.

Good to know

Admission: one wristband grants access to the seven museums participating in Museum Night. Free shuttles provide transportation between the museums. ADVANCE SALES – UNTIL 9 OCTOBER Wristbands are available at all participating museums and at the Luxembourg City Tourist Office. Adults: €10 Young people aged 16 to 26: €3 Under 16s: free EVENING TICKET OFFICE Wristbands will also be available at all participating museums on the evening itself Adults: €15 Young people aged 16 to 26: €7 Under 16s: free Kulturpass, Friends of the Museums & Frënn vum Naturmusée: free upon presentation of the membership card. The ticket offices will close at 00:30.
