Alea Pinar Du Pre’s exhibition explores femininity as a space of self-possession, transformation and renewed awareness. Through figurative painting, digital aesthetics and meticulous manual processes, the artist questions the cultural and visual conventions that shape beauty, identity and desire. Drawing on Venus and retrograde motion as a return inward, the exhibition considers femininity beyond established ideals. Du Pre’s female figures, neither passive nor idealised, assert their presence and complexity.
