Guided Tour – Architects of the Future
In the framework of The Bank, a project by SUPERFLEX, Mudam organises special guided tours dedicated to the architecture and history of the museum. Participants will learn about the design and history of this landmark by Pritzker Prize-winning architect Ieoh Ming Pei and how Mudam has transformed Luxembourg’s landscape.
Participants will then be invited to imagine the future architecture of Mudam and its surrounding park. They will have the chance to play with clay blocks assembled during the drop-in workshop Building Your Bank and will collectively create a "city of banks" in front of Mudam’s unique building. Their participation will serve as a blueprint for SUPERFLEX’s permanent installation project in Park Dräi Eechelen.
SUPERFLEX, a collective founded in 1993 by Jakob Fenger, Bjørnstjerne Christiansen, and Rasmus Rosengren Nielsen, develops new forms of inclusive urbanism, involving the participation of local communities, specialists, children, and even other species.
