Upon entering the main hall, visitors discover the new exhibition at the National Museum of Resistance and Human Rights, consisting of printed texts, documents and objects in display cases, mechanical devices, audio recordings, films, projections, computer graphics and interactive screens. This variety of media offers something for everyone. To enrich the experience and give a voice to those who lived through this difficult period, audio testimonies are available for each panel with QR codes to scan via smartphone. The exhibition mainly follows a thematic approach, but two timelines on the ground and first floors enable visitors to delve into the details of the story. To put faces to history, short biographies allow visitors to discover men and women who lived through it. Biographical niches in the main hall, featured before or after visiting the historical exhibition, present 28 historical figures and 16 present-day Luxembourg residents, recounting their lives as victims, civilians or actors.
