The story begins immediately after. Following Sara's escape, her mother, her loves, and her friends contemplate. Through their voices, a puzzle is laid out to understand the teenager's actions. With live percussion making Sara's breathlessness and heartbeats tangible, the performance dives into the mind of a young girl overwhelmed by social and environmental crises. What happens when a child no longer seeks to confront her parents' generation? When she chooses to withdraw, to desert? Facing this radicality is a true test. Musical and poetic, Welcome Elsewhere explores Sara's choice and invites collective reflection on alternative ways of existing.
