The Konschthal’s Takeover Thursday events invite audiences to rediscover each exhibition through the perspectives of guests from diverse creative backgrounds. Each unique evening brings together performances, concerts, readings, and encounters shaped by themes connected to the exhibitions.

In resonance with David Claerbout’s exhibition Five Hours, Fifty Days, Fifty Years, this Takeover Thursday, Hyper Slow, explores an extended sense of temporality, where the present stretches, repeats, and fragments. Over the course of one night, the galleries are activated through performances and ephemeral interventions, encouraging visitors to slow down and resist acceleration.

Performance by Berto Herrera
Herrera presents a fleeting appearance that critically engages with surveillance and the algorithmic era. Unrecorded and unarchived, the performance exists only in the moment, refusing any lasting trace.
