Guided Tour – Architects of the Future
In the framework of the SUPERFLEX project The Bank, Mudam is organising special guided tours devoted to the museum's architecture and history. Participants will learn about the design and story of this landmark by Pritzker Prize winning architect Ieoh Ming Pei and see how Mudam has transformed the landscape of Luxembourg.
Participants will then be invited to imagine the future architecture of Mudam and its surrounding park by playing with clay blocks assembled during the Building Your Bank workshop. Together, they will create a collective "city of banks" just outside Mudam's unique building. Their participation will serve as a blueprint for SUPERFLEX's project to create a permanent installation in Park Dräi Eechelen.
SUPERFLEX, founded in 1993 by Jakob Fenger, Bjørnstjerne Christiansen and Rasmus Rosengren Nielsen, is a collective working with a wide variety of collaborators and engaging in participatory public space projects involving local communities.
