Guided Tour – Architects of the Future

As part of “The Bank”, a project by SUPERFLEX, Mudam is organising special guided tours dedicated to the architecture and history of the museum. Participants will first learn about the design and history of this landmark by Pritzker Prize-winning architect Ieoh Ming Pei and discover how Mudam has changed Luxembourg’s landscape. Next, participants will be invited to imagine the future architecture of Mudam and its surrounding park. To do so, they will be able to play with clay blocks assembled during the “Building Your Bank” workshop. Together, they will create a collective “city of banks” just outside Mudam’s unique building. Their participation will contribute to SUPERFLEX’s project of developing a permanent installation in Park Dräi Eechelen. Regular tours are addressed to individual visitors and small groups (max. 5 people). SUPERFLEX, founded in 1993 by Jakob Fenger, Bjørnstjerne Christiansen and Rasmus Rosengren Nielsen, operates as an expanded collective working with collaborators from various fields. Their projects often involve local communities, specialists, children and even other species, aiming for interspecies coexistence.
