Pop Arendt! Coloring Architecture (Workshop for all audiences, no prerequisites)
Come and color, transform, and reinvent Luxembourg's heritage in a Pop Art style! As part of the exhibition dedicated to Charles Arendt (1825–1910), Luxembourg State's first architect and a major 19th-century figure, Pop Arendt! invites young and old to rediscover architecture through a creative and playful approach inspired by Pop Art.
Based on drawings representing the architect's iconic buildings, children and their parents are encouraged to reinvent Luxembourg's architecture and heritage with vibrant colors, geometric patterns, and surprising contrasts. The activity turns the rigor of facades into an explosion of creativity: a fluorescent pink facade, a sun-yellow roof, and multicolored stained glass are all welcome!
Throughout the exhibition, the works created form a collective gallery, “Pop Arendt,” a joyful and lively tribute to the architect and his legacy.
