Short film
Stephen Korytko is a narrative and commercial director. His experience in sound and as a commercial director of photography shapes his meticulous approach to filmmaking, where atmosphere is as vital as composition. Over 15 years in advertising, his work has become increasingly narrative, culminating in his fiction debut with the short film The Golden Record (2023), which premiered at the Black Nights Tallinn Film Festival. This bold, dialogue-free meditation on human connection contrasts the intimacy of a 1970s sound recording studio with the vast unknown of space. Upcoming projects include his first feature film, Dead Dad Girl, a dark comedy about the lengths people will go to fit in, and an art installation on memory degeneration created with musician Antoine Honorez, both planned for 2026.
